36th Annual Anniversary Year Kickoff Social“Revolution in the Real World”
September 13, 2005
Program Information
The New England Chapter of AIIM will host its first event of the 2005-2006 year with a program titled “36th Anniversary Kickoff Reception and State of the Union” on September 13, 2005 at the Museum of Science in Boston from 6:00 PM to 10:00 PM. This event is the beginning of our theme for the entire year titled, “Revolution in the Real World.”
Registration runs from 5:30 PM to 6:00 PM. From 6:00 PM to 7:15 PM, attendees have a choice. Either join us for a Cocktail/Networking Reception in The Skyline Room or view a film at the Mugar Omni Theater. The Skyline Room is one of Boston’s most beautiful and unique venues. Two walls of floor to ceiling windows overlooking the Boston Skyline and Charles River, making a view you are not likely to forget. The Mugar Omni Theater projects a film format onto a five-story-tall Imax® Dome screen, wrapping audiences in larger-than-life images of flora, fauna, and faraway places. A state-of-the-art digital sound system completes the immersion effect. You'll find yourself at the center of the action — whether tracking elusive rainforest animals, flying into the eye of a hurricane, or taking that final, hard-won step to the pinnacle of an impossibly tall mountain.
Why not explore Yellowstone from a comfortable seat in a state-of-the-art IMAX® theater? Watch the sun rise over the Grand Tetons ride the rapids of a western river … stand on the brink of the LowerFalls of the Grand Canyon of the Yellowstone … venture /inside/ Old Faithful. Combining historical insights and picturesque highlights,/Yellowstone/ presents images and experiences that take you well beyondthe average tourist visit to the famous park.
From 7:15 PM to 9:00 PM enjoy a Bistro Buffet Dinner catered by Wolfgang Puck. The buffet will include:
John Mancini, President of AIIM, will discuss how ECM will be important to companies who want to stay at the cutting edge of technology in the future. In addition, a Museum of Science speaker will present a short history of the MOS. To complete the event, there will be a Cocktail/Networking Reception from 9:00 PM to 10:00 PM.
Feedback from those attending past New England Chapter events indicates that the meeting presentations are meaningful and the speakers are articulate.
