AIIM Awards Program for 2009/2010

AIIM is the international authority on Enterprise Content Management (ECM).

Every year the AIIM Awards Program recognizes the leaders, the innovators, and the dedicated members of our community. The 2010 Awards Nomination Process will run from November 9, 2009 to February 1, 2010. There are two award tracks, one for organizations and another for members of AIIM.

Organizations may be nominated for the Carle E Nelson Best Practices Award or the Thomas C. Bagg Standards Award. Our professional members may be nominated for the Distinguished Service Award, the Company of Fellows or the Award of Merit. Information about these awards can be found at www.AIIM.org.

It is never too early to start thinking about those companies or individuals we feel are deserving of those honors and I encourage you to do so as this process evolves. The nomination requires not only the suggestion of a name but the submission of written evidence, sometimes from other parties, to support the candidates we promote, and competition is intense.

Responsibility for the documentation for each nominee falls on the shoulders of the nominators and I will be happy to follow up to make sure no nominee falls by the wayside because the appropriate documentation is not submitted on time by their supporters.

Please think about those you would like to see recognized this year.

Paul V. Montesino, PhD, Awards Committee.
