Russ Edelman has been an ECM Veteran for 20 years. Corridor Consulting, Inc. has been focused on designing and implementing SharePoint 2007 solutions. Russ has just written another article on SharePoint as an ECM Platform for AIIM E-DOC and is the lead author of “Nice Guys Can Get The Corner Office – 8 Strategies to Winning In Business Without Being A Jerk”

SharePoint 2007 has unquestionably become the most progressive force in the ECM industry. And with that progress comes confusion in its deployment and overlap with existing ECM systems. Confusion in that the demand has never been higher and IT shops are struggling with governance and successful IT deployment strategies. Overlap in that it is unclear as to how SharePoint can harmoniously coexist with other ECM systems that have been in place for years This lunch “aims” to provide illumination to these issues.
