AIIM New England Award winners!

Once again our New England Chapter was proud host to the AIIM International Exposition and Conference that took place in Boston, MA, March 3-6. This year, two of our distinguished members received very Special Awards.

The AIIM Awards acknowledge the significant contributions by individuals and companies to the Industry and the Association, and are typically bestowed at AIIM’s Annual Industry Conference.

Bob Williams will receive The Award of Merit
The Award of Merit was established in 1954, and is the highest award the Association can bestow. This award recognizes lifetime achievement to the Association and to the Industry.

Tracy Smith will receive the Distinguished Service Award
The Distinguished Service Award recognizes individuals whose outstanding service benefited the advancement of ECM technology through AIIM Chapters, national or international standards development, other committee activity, or volunteerism especially in the past twelve (12) months.

Our February event “How SaaS and Hosted Services Can Improve Your Business” has been delayed to April 2nd at the Newton Marriott (8:30am to noon) so that the chapter can expand on this exciting topic. Software-as-a-service (SaaS) is one of the fastest growing segments of the information technology (IT) industry, because it provides a more cost-effective alternative for enterprises to achieve their business objectives than traditional packaged applications.

The AIIM New England Chapter continues to thrive and receive national recognition as one of the largest and most involved AIIM Chapters. We encourage and welcome your involvement. We are always looking for volunteers to help us make this all happen. Please contact either one of us if you would like to benefit from AIIM experience.
